Miss Gay Oklahoma America 2016 Saves Life, Honored with Citizen Hero Medal

When not teaching yoga, Oklahoma City's Ryan Tigner is known as soigné female impersonator, Ry'lee Hilton, our own Miss Gay Oklahoma America 2016.

Tigner was recently honored with a Citizen Hero Medal by Oklahoma City's EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) for saving the life of a 50 year old student who collapsed during his yoga class. He was featured on the local TV news and in the local weekly paper, The Oklahoma Gazette and local LGBTQ paper, The Gayly.

In the Miss Gay America system, the crown and title holder who wear it are referred to as the "symbol of excellence," words that couldn't be more fitting for Ryan Tigner/Ry'lee Hilton.
